Fire Alarm Certificate
When your fire alarm testing is completed, you should be given a Fire Alarm certificate. It is similar to a periodic inspection report.
Fire alarm certificates should be stored in a secure location. This is for proof of compliance in the case that it is required.
Fire alarm testing is a legal requirement that must comply with BS5839. A knowledgeable expert should test fire alarm systems.
This can be done weekly, 6 times a month, or once a year. The annual fire alarm test is the most important criterion to follow.
Fire Risk Assessments
Fire risk assessments are compulsory under current UK legislation for commercial properties employing more than five workers.
Fire Risk Assessments are carried out by UK Safety and Compliance in schools, licenced premises, offices, warehouses/factories, residential properties, care homes, retail outlets, and all buildings that are required by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, which includes common areas of flats.
Our assessors are highly experienced and knowledgeable professionals who provide compliance by providing a high-quality professional service. Our reports are comprehensive but simple to understand, ensuring that the end-user is fully aware of their responsibilities.
?Do you need a fire risk assessment for your premises
We can supply and carry out a fire risk assessment of your property as part of our UK Safety and Compliance assessments services. The survey will identify any fire risk in your property and make recommendations to keep your premises safe; this information is then compiled into a full written fire assessment report.
Our fire risk assessment document follows the guidance and recommended methodology of PAS 79.
We will also offer you any guidance you require following the fire risk assessment visit and receipt of the fire risk assessment report as part of our services
Fire Extinguisher Service and Maintenance
It is essential to properly maintain fire extinguishers and fire safety systems. It is recommended that fire extinguishers are serviced and maintained annually to ensure that they will function in an emergency.
To ensure compliance a responsible person within your organisation should also conduct a visual inspection on a regular basis to ensure the extinguisher has not been damaged or accidentally discharged. If your organisation employs 5 people or more you must also hold a physical record of all service, maintenance and inspections.
We provide maintenance inspections to ensure your equipment is functioning as intended. All work at your property is carried out by qualified engineers, thus ensuring that all appropriate actions have been carried out to keep your property safe in the event of a fire.

A Grade fire alarm systems are usually found in commercial settings but are also seen in homes.

Excellent service from Sharon, Mark and the team. We invited them to do our PAT testing and Fire Extinguisher checking and they were efficient, timely and professional. Definitely will be getting them to come back next year.
